iPod

I think I may cave in to consumer peer-pressure and buy an iPod tomorrow. My mother says my father wants an MP3 player for Christmas so she suggests I get a new player and give Dad the old one. My current Dell DJ player is almost three years old and is very clunky indeed. The software for it has also mysteriously bugged up in the past few weeks.

I'm not sure that I listen to music on the go enough to justify the purchase of a new iPod. But it's undeniably handy to have and I've nearly outgrown my current 20 GB player. Too bad Apple doesn't make the 60 GB models anymore because that would be perfect. I also don't like contributing to Apple's near-monopoly on the market. But if you think I'm going to get a Zune you're crazy.

If this entry seems incoherent and rambling compared to my usual standards blame it on the nine-hour drinking session from last night.
