NFL is upon us
NFL season is right around the corner. Alison even sent me something about it and going to a preseason game this week. And to kick it off the preseason has Dallas opening against San Diego. Normally this would get a bet with Kristi since she's a Chargers fan but who bets on preseason when they bench people to play the scrubs? Besides, Kristi needs me to teach her some other things at the moment so trash talking the preseason is probably not going to happen. lol
I will watch at least the beginning when the starters are out there some what. No Julius Jones so let's see what Marion Barber does now that he won't have to share time. I hope he's still the Beast of the NFC East. It was nice to have the thunder and lightning combo in Barber and Jones but like a lot of things, people must move on. Seriously. Moving on is a part of life. lol.
Which brings me to the last post. I got a message asking was I mad at someone. NO. I was laughing so hard through all of it. It's all mind over matter. I don't mind and you know the rest of that saying. I haven't been around here posting behind someone's back and maybe it's time for some to grow up and do the same. But one good thing came out of it, it gave me one of the best laughs in a while. And I guess my finding it funny wasn't the result they tried to cause but it's funny. lol. Why shouldn't it be funny? I mean take an opinion of someone you never met before except online and add a quarter to that and you still couldn't buy a cup of coffee at Starbucks with that. I guess it's not worth much after all. Have a nice day, GF. heh. Move on. One time.
I was going to post this FO like all the other posts except the last paragraph killed that.
Now back to the NFL.
Favre to the Jets. Now if it can help them at least beat the Patriots to avoid another 18-D'OH so they don't got through the season without a loss, that would be cool. But I expect Favre to show why he's Captain INT than anything else. The Jets are not known to be able to protect the QB and when the pocket breaks down, so does Favre's talent. But I hope he can help the Jets at least beat those Patriots once. I don't want to see them go 16-0 again. And only an idiot preordered the 19-0 book from Amazon. Perfectville still has a population of 1 thanks to the Giants. But it was fun watching all the Downfall videos on Youtube about the Patriots failure to seal the deal. And the "You Cheated" video over there was priceless.
But it's time for some football once again...
