The P&C by my house is remodeling but it didn't seem like they'd done much when I went in the other day. So I go along my usual route with my list of items, then went for the bread and Silk (yeah, I've switched to soymilk- it's better for you and tastes good after awhile). There was some plastic hanging in the center of the store, hiding their construction, and I realized the bread had moved. So I go toward the milk instead, and look to my right, and see through this doorway that there's a whole new part of the store! It hadn't seemed like they'd done any construction outside, so as I was walking through the doorway it was like I was walking into Narnia or something: this was not supposed to be here. There was another man in that section too, but he didn't seem to have the same awe-struck look I did, so I grabbed my items and left, feeling like I'd walked into the Looking Glass. Well, I suppose it must sound stupid, but it was a very interesting evening. It probably helps that I was shopping at around 9:30.
In other news, I got a real steal of a loveseat today from a former teacher of mine for $25!! Below are pics beneath a cut. Kitties are an added bonus!
It's amazing how the color changes between flash and regular hall lighting. I haven't bothered to move the find to the living room yet. Don't really know how to fit it all in, but I'll make it work. It's so amazing.
