Yeah, sure.
My football season (and career) ended on Saturday. It was kind of sad. Friday afternoon, after the last practice, was actually more emotional. It's just been like, every fall, from the time I was in second grade until now, football has been a mainstay. It's not even like football is my life, or a great passion of mine, or anything. There were times that I dreaded going to football practice. But in the end, it was awesome. When I stopped growing in ninth grade, my dreams of football stardom were pretty much gone, but I still made the most of my 71 inches and 175 pounds. So I guess the end of my football career brings to an end a part of my childhood.
Life is pretty good. I need to be on top of my work (especially now, since life should be less hectic without sports for a while), but that's nothing new. College applications too. Oh well. Sometimes it's like I'm just going along for the ride, and have very little control over what happens to me. That can be sort of exciting, but after awhile you just want to do something. ahhhh
