Goodness! Where has Robyn been?
Hi! Don't have a heart attack or anything. I haven't posted in forever. ...almost 9 months! No...dont' take that 9 months to mean anythign specific....its just a magical number.
So whats been up? Cliff notes:
The new house is still great. The county engineer is not. THey are trying to steal my trees to put in some horrible culvert and a curve in the road to connect to a new road. It sucks and I'm fighting it.
We have a dog now. Her name is Isabella Bellatrix Beltane....otherwise known as BellaBellaBella. lol. She was dumped from a van into our yard on May 5th. On June 5th, she had 4 of the biggest puppies you've ever seen in your life. Poor girl. She grunted and wimpered and struggled for over 12 hours. They are beautiful puppies but are huge and thus hard to find homes for. We have 2 left.
Miranda is doing well. She is in 10th grade and is LOVING her new school. I can't say enough about this new district. They are AMAZING and way beyond anything we hoped for when we moved here. They have helped her more in the short time we've lived here than the other district did in her entire life.
Gary has gone through some schooling and is now certified to be an EMT if he wants. IT certainly helps when firespinning and for some new medical issues that have come up with me.
We have found that I have some med issues. It explains a lot of random medical stuff that we didn't understand. I guess thats good. It further solidified the already aparent fact that I'll never have babies. I thought I was ok with it but sometimes I get sad still when friends have new little ones. Also not only and I now allergic to my allergy medicine but I've had several scares of my throat and uvula swelling....not to the point of not breathing, but to the point of being scared. I guess its an epi pen for me. The biggest down side of teh medicine that I'm "supposed" to be on is no alcohol......not more than one sip. SO I'm not on it now. I took the summer off to have fun. I'll have to start back on it soon.
I'm also now and official artist! I have several peices that have sold out of a cafe in Yellow Springs. I have an art show coming up in SPringfield in September. I'm excited about it.
I'm also now a facebook fiend! Yes, I still hate myspace but facebook is awesome! I don't have my real name on FB so if you're on FB and want me to friend you, comment here and I'll message you my FB name.
