Weekly article
Once again I was interviewed for an article in the Weekly, and once again what I said was completely misinterpreted and taken out of context so as to make me sound like I was saying something completely opposite than I was. So far, I've only gotten one email from anyone affiliated with Res Life, and that was Burum telling me good job for standing up for what I believe in. I have mixed emotions on this whole thing, really. I'm glad I said something, but for what I said to be intentionally misconstrued is juvenile and indicative of poor journalism. I shouldn't expect much from the Weekly, I suppose, but for them to pretend to have any sort of validity, this shit can't happen.
Anyway, I'm not worried about any potential backlash on the issue. It's only a month from today that we graduate, so I'll take any lumps which go along with this stupid article.
I just wish they had done a better job representing my opinions, that's all.
