(no subject)
I watched a guy on a bike when i was at a stoplight. He made me smile, because there he was on his bike, with tons of loaded shopping bags on the handles. I wanted to laugh because it made me remember my last trip to the store on my bike, and trying to come home with too many bags made it a really awkward situation, and there this guy was with tripple the number of bags. Then he threw his kickstand out, and went chasing a piece of paper across the lawn. Oh, he must have dropped his receipt and the wind cuaght it, i thoguht. THen he went after another and another peice, and upon taking closer inspection of his bags, they were all filled with trash. He was picking up street trash on his ride home.
thats so cool. I wanted to get out and hug him, but my atmosphere polluting suv couldn't be left in the middle of the road, and he had too much trash.
Yay for the perfect citizen! I've often thought of doing that on my walk to school bc there's so much trash, now i just might do it.
Florida tomorrow. I'm so stoked. I can barely function right now bc of lack of sleep, but i'm so stoked. My roommates bribed me to go out with them last night saying they'd be home by 11:30, and I wasn't drinking and they both got comepletely trashed. so i walked home and left them at the bars on pearl when it got to be 1am and i was too exhausted to stand up. Sarah took a fall later in the night and cut herself up nicely. I came home to meet up with dillon, and we hung out til 3, then FINALLY got to pass out after helping the drunk roommates when they came home...got up at 8 to go to birds of prey....2 of them were put to sleep today and it was just aweful to have to be around the process; its not like putting an animal down at the vets. i'm sure its jsut as painless, it just messes with my head.
Florida. I hope everyone is well. if you called me and i don't get a chance to call you for a week, don't hate me, i still love you.
