there's a place off of ocean avenue

I got back from the beach today. I didn't want to leave at all. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Especially at night when the sun was setting. It was almost heavenly. i hung out with a girl named macy. She was really cool. we drove down sunday, got losted 7 times(grandma's fault), and when we finally got there, we went down to the beach for about 3 hours. I went swimming most of the time because i was so super ecstatic(sp?) about how big the waves were. that night, we got ready and went down to the boardwalk. did i mention that we stayed half a block away from the beach? well, the boardwalk had 3 miles of stores on it. we basically covered it all. Went home and then to sleep. yesterday, me n macy woke up at like 8, then walked down to the beach because that is when the surfers go in. We had to leave at 9:30 then because we forgot our beach passes. when my g-ma got home, we went shopping. After shopping and lunch, we went back down to the beach. i swam for a long time, and then finally went onto the shore to tan. i got so burnt. It hurts real bad too. that night we went back to the boardwalk again and blew all our money. This morning, i had to say goodbye to the ocean. I really didn't wanna leave. but, we left at 9:30 for our 5 and a half hour trip. I read the whole time and finished a book and a half. 'twas good. I'm just finishing packing and then Im gonna go to bed because i have to get up at 5 to make it to the airport by 7. I'll be home in less than 16 hours!! can't wait

oh, and sorry for the endless detail about the beach. It was just so amazing to me because i had never been to the ocean before then. the only bad thing was the fricken seagulls. they would swoop right down and take food out of your hand. And, they're fricken gross. gotta go!!
