(no subject)
For once, I've decided that I'm not going to rant or complain about anything...because, I'm sure my whiny, complints get old.
~My day off Tuesday didn't happen, but I did get all my errands done before I had to go into work. And, so after working 17-straight days, I have 3 days off, then I work Tuesday and Wednesday before having another 3 days off. I don't know what I'm going to do with that spare time, but sleeping will definitely on the to-do list.
~I think I might get my hair cut tomorrow. I don't know. I'll prally chicken out and just have them trim it, but I'm having the bangs debate again. We'll see...and I need to look for some black polos and button downs for work. I have a 20% off cupon for Kohls to use...so, maybe after I do the hair, I'll do a little shopping.
~A long time ago, I signed up for Spirit's email list, so they always send me flight promotions. Lately, I haven't even been looking at them...but for whatever reason, when an email popped up in my inbox today, I looked. I shouldn't have done that because I am now stupidly considering FCW. For $99 dollars, I can fly to NY on either the 15th or the 16th...and come back on the 17th for $9. $109 round trip...amazing. However, there is the hotel factor...and thats really the biggest reason I'm not going. That said, it's not beneath me to go to NYC on the 16th, hang out and do whatever...and then just go to the airport and stay the night there, since my departing flight would leave at 6am. Or getting a cheap hotel room by the airport (The LaGuardia Hotel would only be $100 and the reviews are pretty decent, save the guy who complained bc they didn't provide him with a toothbrush...and it has high speed internet in each room). So if I just did one day, I could stay there...or if I stayed 2 days, I could stay there one of the nights and somewhere else the other...and there are some cheap rates for that weekend. But really, you have no idea how much I shouldn't be considering this...and the fact that I am, means that I am truly insane.
~That said, I've been stalking ticket prices for SSW. They went down. A lot. I didn't want to book them til the first week or August...but. $89 going there, $84 coming back could be the best deal I get. Stacy, I sent you an email about this because I'd like to get my flight times as close to yours as possible...at least the arriving one.
~Since I'm on the topic of travel...the idea of NYC Spring 2009 is making me incredibly happy. This will be the first time that I've gone to NYC for something other than a soap event, LOL.
...and now, I'm too distracted to finish the post. Apparently, there are some good hotel deals that weekend as well. ::sigh::
