When we were younger, still in our Osh Kosh overalls, elementary school teachers all over the country had us play that telephone game.  They would whisper a phrase in one student's ear.  That student would then whisper it to the person next to them, and so on.  After the message had gone full circle, we would all laugh because the message was never the same as when it started.  Was the lesson of that game to not believe everything you hear?  Or was it that stories change from person to person, perspective to perspective?  Almost two decades later the same shit happens with adults.  Because we all want to sensationalize what's not that exciting, or complicated, to begin with.  Because we all want to make our own truths.
