Oh, this breaks my heart :( But it could so easily be the way that things do turn out.

Great description of Juliet and Jack's relationship, by the way - I love the way that they treated each other in seasons three and four, and have really missed that in season five. Agree with the last line, by the way - it is about time that she got something that she wanted! Beautiful characterisation - thank you :)

Thank you! :) One of the best parts of this show for me was the interaction between Jack and Juliet. They just worked so well together, and I miss that now too. If Juliet turns out to be dead, I just really hope we get to see some sort of reaction from Jack.

Me too - I think we should do, but we got so little Jacket interaction in season 5 although the two scenes we did get were amazing. I'm rooting more for Suliet and Jate (purely because I think that's what's likely to happen, and I really do love James and Juliet together) but it does annoy me slightly that that's the way the writers are taking it. EM and MF have such fantastic chemistry together, as do EL and JH. I just don't see it as much when they switch them around - to me, Jack and Juliet had more natural chemistry in the two kisses that we got and in the relationship leading up to it than I ever saw with Jack and Kate (hasten to add that this is NOT me bashing Jate, I get why some people like them. They're just not my favourite pairing.)

Anyways, slightly off topic. You're right, we better get some reaction from Jack. I think we will do, as well. Unless she's not dead. She better not be dead.

Oh I agree 100% with you. The writers seem so insistent on making something work between Jack and Kate because they're the golden couple, but there just seems to be so little romantic chemistry there. I love their interaction in the platonic sense, I just can't buy it as anything more. (And don't even get me started on Sawyer and Juliet...I'm still trying to figure out why/how that happened) Jack and Juliet though had potential. Their chemistry was engaging.

Part of me doesn't want her to be dead. The other part is afraid that if she's still alive, they won't bother giving her a good storyline like she had in S3, which makes me wonder if she's better off not surviving.

I really missed the JackEt action in Season 5, and, if Juliet isn't dead, then I hope it returns in Season 6. I also hope Jack of Season 6 is like the Jack in your story. He needs to snap out of this Locke nonsense, you know? Anyway, sorry for rambling. I really loved this alot. :D

You are preaching to the choir, sweetie! It seems like each time I write them I realize more and more that they are the most functional couple on this show and they really could have been something amazing. It makes me incredibly mad that Lost dropped them for two poorly devised couples. Jacket scenes were definitely one of the highlights of S5 and really all I care about when it comes to Juliet's possible death is how Jack will react. I want to see him grieving, and I could care less about Sawyer's reaction.
