Haaaaving the tiiiime of your liiiiife...
Everyone is so chill here at MSU.
Last night a couple friends and I went to the hookah bar for a couple hours, just sat on the ground with pillows, laughing and talking and smiling, surrounded by awesome chill music, talking to new people... I seem to make friends everywhere I go, because the people here are just so amazing. It's acceptable to butt into someone else's conversation if you overhear something you can relate to, that's just a way of meeting new people.
(example: this girl in our group was talking about her friend who accidentally pulled the middle section of her eyelashes out while dancing (lol), and she was a redhead with really light colored eyelashes... so this redheaded guy across the floor from us goes "Are you guys hatin' on gingers over there?" and we all just kinda chilled. Turns out he's in my math class!)
Then our little group went back to the dorms and chilled, listening to great music for hours while piled up on a tiny bed (we're freaking tetris pieces) and watching it on iTunes visualizer... and then watched Flight of the Concord and Eddie Izzard. Went to bed around 2 or 3, class at 9:10 but hey it's all good!
There's really like no drama here, and nothing's awkward or weird, it's simply just a lot of fun and good times. Friends reading this, you're welcome to come up and visit any time, just give me a day and it'll probably be good! I'd love for you all to meet everybody :)
