I had a few days with some extra free time because I've been flying solo for the past week. Oh, haven't I told you? I got me one of those girlfriend things. Yes, a real one. None of that blow up or build-her-in-the-cyberspace type of crap. A real, live woman. I'm dating a real girl! ZOMG, I know! She's on a vacation right now (I'm stuck at work the whoooooole summer), coming back this weekend so I have nothing better to do but to sit my ass down and watch TV before and after work. Lovely, no?
Anyway, I started watching Fringe. I know, the show premiered like, how many months ago? Oh and there was a season finale, too? Wow, I really do take my time with jumping on the bandwagon, don't I? So yeah, I started watching it and even though it has me in the WTF?! mode some of the time (I don't remember X Files ever getting me in that mood, or is it because now I'm older but not wiser and my bulshitmeter could use a downgrade?). And speaking of... Fringe has the bestest opening credit music since X Files. Very creepy. Very scientific-ky. I don't, however, like the big 3D floating nametag things. They are taking too much space on my screen. But I do like agent Olivia. Now, she's nice. She can take up all the space on my screen she likes. So now I'm pretty much catching up for season two, and judging by the number of shows I've been catching up on during the summer (and some new ones that I'll hopefully get to see come January) I'll be a very busy fangirl this Fall.
And speaking of busy, fangirl and Fall... I've been watching Defying Gravity, too. You get three tries to guess why. I just saw episode 3 and while I enjoy the flashback stories, I am slightly annoyed with the present time and the mystery thing behind the door number 4. I cannot allow myself another Lost. Another WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! type of show would destroy me.
For now, that is all.
