I’m actually very glad I read the more disappointed than good reviews of Lucky Thirteen, because as I watched the episode I kept thinking to myself, “What are these girls talking about? The episode is one of the best I’ve seen!” It’s much better than reading people fangirl squeeing over something, getting my hopes up, only to be disappointed in the end. I think it was a job well done, and maybe that’s because I don’t like to go too deep into analysis like some lesbian fans on
AfterEllen do (even if they are preceded by my beloved Dorothy Snarker). I totally enjoyed the interaction between Remy and Spencer, especially because I did not expect to see as much screen time/intimacy between them beyond the (slightly tamed) lead-in scene. The only thing that terrifies me (more than the stereotypical portrayal of bisexual women on American TV, as the in-the-know fans describe it) is the possibility of Wilde’s character ending up with Foreman. The very thought of Sara/Grissom type of chemistry happening all over again on one of my favorite shows is just chilling.
But how about Criminal Minds’ 4x04? That episode was extra awesome. And yes, when I say episode, I mean agent Prentiss. *glee*
