It wasn't just sex...

She could still smell his scent on her skin, it was musky, heady. And the smell of sex lingered in the air, heavy and thick from the night before and it had taken her more than a little effort to leave the warmth of the bed and his body. But she had to go to work and she really shouldn't go there smelling of him, no matter how much she liked it. Turning the shower on she hoped she didn't wake him, something in her head told her he was probably a grumpy bastard in the morning if he was woken up before he was ready.

Unbuttoning the shirt, his shirt, she slipped out of it and let it fall to the floor, watching how the material crumpled at her feet.

Really, she couldn't help but smile, the thought of all the things that happened last night, the way he lad laid there, his fingers slowly moving over her skin as they talked, the softness of his kisses at times and the way he smiled at her. All of it was so very different; it was almost...no, she wouldn't jinx it.

Slipping under the hot jets she smiled even more. In the past few months things had gone from shit to awful to liveable to great, and he was part of the great, the man laying sleeping in her bed. A soft sigh as she reached up and rubbed her shoulders, a soft hiss at the bruise on her shoulder caused by his teeth and then another fond smile.

He'd been laughing when he'd made that mark, made a comment about marking his territory and how she was now his. If only he knew the truth.

If he knew.

"M sorry," words were muttered from behind her and lips were pressed against her skin, "Didn't think I'd bit that 'ard." His hands brushed around her stomach and pulled her close, "Mornin."

"Morning."

"Thought you'd up and gone."

"No." Not this time, not now, she didn't have to leave now. And this, this was their first morning together. No running off back home now, they were in her home and she was with him. "Needed to shower before work."

"Ummmm, mornin' shower sex."

"Is that all you want me for?" Gwen teased as she turned around to face him. "Sex."

"Pretty much," but that kiss told her something else, the fact they'd slept in one another’s arms told her something else and the fact he wasn't shoving her against the wall and having his way with her showed her it was something else. "Back to work after mine tonight, I'll cook?"

"Is that a date Mr Harper?"

He grinned, "Just might well be, Miss Cooper."
