(no subject)
the only thing i really wanted for christmas, my parents got me. i couldn't be more happy.
overall, christmas was nice. typical, but nice. i spent basically the whole day playing with my nearly four year old cousin. i'm pretty sure we were both absolutely content with it, too. sometimes its nice to socialize with someone who doesn't have a sidekick attached to their hands, and doesn't worry about who they need to impress, or who's hating (on) them today. naivity (and playing with play-doh) is pretty okay sometimes.
i got a text christmas morning from amanda that she got engaged. what an absolute mindfuck (both on the engagement AND that she broke the news through a text message. some things just deserve a phone call). i'm not surprised, at all. i've seen this coming, since forever, but still. MINDFUCK.
lyn wants to go down to atlanta for new years. i wish i could say i was all for it, but that's a serious drive, which would give me a serious headache.
now that i've acquired a little bit of cash, it's burning a hole in my pocket. i should save it, but i need to spend it (or at least a little) on something.
