Everyone is being so delightful on my friends list today. Aaaaand I realize that that can be read as sarcastic, given that people are understandably upset over the rudeness on the kink meme, but I actually mean it. I have laughed a lot at people's entries today. Everyone's being funny and awesome. (Plus Selena looks adorable over in London.)
I am finally caught up on my flist! It kind of sucks that the past few weeks have been so delightful in fandom and they've also been the busiest weeks of my year, at my job and with my family. It's definitely been good for my personal life, but bad for my fandom life. Too bad "I can't go on our family vacation, the Jonas Brothers are going to the KCAs" isn't appropriate.
I won't go on about the KCAs, since they were forever ago and everyone's pretty much said everything I would want to. I will just say this: heaven is an audience cam where you can watch Joe and Demi play with each other's fingers for ETERNITY.

The one good thing about not being able to be on lj very much is that when you come back, the amount of awesome is overwhelming. It can knock you out of a funk you've been nursing. Like. Okay. I've been feeling the tiniest bit icy toward Nicholas Jerry since he and Selena broke up. WHICH I KNOW IS RIDICULOUS since 1) I have no idea what happened there, and 2) they're Disney teenagers, who gives a fuck?? But I can't HELP IT, my instincts toward Selena are super-maternal. She starts frowning and I start looking for people to punch, Idon'tevenknowwhat'swrongwithme.
But then the universe was like, DUDE, Nick Jonas is 50% of the reason you're even IN this fandom in the first place, this will not stand. And then it just unloaded a pile of awesome in my lap. Like this:

And then there were really adorable rumors about him and Nicole, which I totally don't need to be true, I just love imagining him all shy around her. I feel like she might actually be able to hold her own with him.
AND THEN THERE WAS SO MUCH NICK FIC HOTNESS. Nick/Zefron and Nick-flavored Joe/Demi and new Easy and the Nick's Mouth porn challenge (which I've barely started reading, and already: guuuuh) and I was like SOLD, UNIVERSE. I'M SOLD.
I'm really missing the boyfriendy stuff lately. The Houston Rodeo was great, but I can't wait until they're back on tour and we get interviews and stage shenanigans. That is, after all, 100% of the reason I'm even IN this fandom in the first place.
