I don't know how popular podcasts are, any more. I'm sure that, like all things, they have their devout followers still hanging on, long after the rest of...well, everyone went in search for the next shiny thing. I am one of the latter: Tally-ho! After that New Shiny Thing, I say! *gallops away*
However, I still have one or two podcasts that I regularly subscribe to, one of them being: the
Magnum Stories photo podcast. The
Magnum Stories photo podcasts are set up around themes; often the work of one photographer is featured (though occasionally work from multiple members of the Magnum Group is used) and presented as a photo essay. Even better: They offer up these photos watermark-free, for your viewing pleasure.
The podcasts are formatted to be able to play on all iPods with a screen, though you'll get the most out of these if you play them on a screen at least 620px wide (the default size for the photo podcasts).
On Magnum Photos:"Magnum is a community of thought, a shared human quality, a curiosity about what is going on in the world, a respect for what is going on and a desire to transcribe it visually."
- Henri Cartier-Bresson (co-founder of Magnum Photos)
Magnum Photos is a photographic cooperative of great diversity and distinction owned by its photographer members. With powerful individual vision, Magnum photographers chronicle the world and interpret its peoples, events, issues and personalities.

A showcase of amazing photographic work, the
Magnum Stories photo podcast is a pocket-sized fountain of talent that I can carry around with me wherever I go; inspiring, beautiful, and fascinating.
