Oftentimes I find that people are quick to call something 'bad' when it makes them personally uncomfortable. It limits what we allow ourselves to experience, don't you think? [Of course he has no idea what made you ask such a question.]

The environment wouldn't condition its inhabitants to feel uncomfortable unless there was something wrong with it, right? I mean tattoos and somebody's sexuality are different than something like rape or murder.

You have a very good point. Though I do think there are a few forces in the world that condition others to feel uncomfortable with things they think is wrong. Something of an attempt to protect the masses--which isn't criminal, I suppose. [Just pathetic. Insert something here about the road to hell and good intentions.] But I try to question what gets under my skin: it never hurts to challenge yourself.

It'd be chaos otherwise, you'd think...but maybe you have a point. If you don't challenge yourself, you don't grow. You just get...stuck. It's just a matter of making sure the things that get under your skin don't harm you in the end and destroy you.
