ARGH! I have so many mixed feelings about this---on the one hand, THERE IS MORE FIC AND OH GOD IS IT EVER LOVELY!!! On the other hand, my soul was crushed and mended in the duration of this new section...when they got into their fight I was actually like "oh good. They need to fight it out and get it all out in the open" and then the fight took a turn for the heartbreaking and I was like "no...NO! STOP!! TOO FAR!! BOOOOYS!!!!!!!" and then in the end, nothing was really resolved ( ... )

Yeah, I know, I'M SO SORRY. I swear they do finally sort things out, but I haven't quite worked out how all the scenes fit together, so I can't post that bit just yet.

Anyway, I'm so glad there are feelings! And... yeah, I know the prompt asked for happy cuddle times on the couch, but somehow I let them loose in this really scary world and now they're stuck. Poor boys. But, prom! Prom is good, right?

*grin* Thanks! OMG, this damn thing is one step forward, two steps back. Every time I think I'm getting to the finish line, it's like, oh, but then it doesn't make sense unless they do this... *insert an extra 5,000 words* I want it to end! How the hell do I stop?

Oh man I both love and hate that. I cut out basically the entire plot of one of my fills because I realised it was going to take weeks longer than I intended and I had other prompts I'd promised to try. There's no easy way to do it without hacking and burning like a mad thing. Or faking your death.

I totally meant to say how wrenching the stuff with Erik and his memories of Seb was. That paragraph about the quarry being his despite all the things that had happened there and the phrase "sun trap" and soooo emotive.

Thank you! I find it so hard to write anything but dialogue, so I'm really pleased that worked. Pretty soon I'm going to try writing a fill with no dialogue whatsoever, just to prove to myself that I can. I fear it will not be very readable, but in all likelihood it will be short, which is a major bonus :D

Ok ok... so many EMOTIONS! There aren't enough sparkly pink hearts in the world to show you just how much I love this fic. At first I only read this because I am a sucker for some hurt!Charles and the prompt practically oozed that; instead, you give me this utterly brilliant HIGH SCHOOL AU that makes me giddy with all the fluffy schmoop at the same time, on the edge of my seat with anticipation for all quiet machinations going on in the background ( ... )

I'm also a sucker for Charles-Emma-friendships. In fact I love Emma in general, which is weird because I didn't warm to her at all in the film. She's much more awesome in fanfic :D
