livin in the land down undaaaa
so i just got here a couple days ago & i know NO ONE yet so far. poor me, right? oh well, i'm sure it'll get better everyday... right?! it's damn near freezing here--about 15 celcius, whatever the fuck that means. all i know is it's COLD. but in november, when it's frigid at home, i'll be soaking up the rays in the lovely 80 degree sun.
i've been listening to a lot of death cab for cutie & just finished chuck palanuik's new non-fiction "stranger than fiction"--y'all should check it out. so yeah... my time's basically split between wandering melbourne, listening to music & sitting in my room reading. awesome, i know.
there's a kid on my floor from chatham, nj! how crazy is that!? i haven't met him yet but jean tells me he went to DELBY! this fact is blowing me away! i can't wait to meet him!
greeeeeat i'm the only one in the comp lab now so i'm gonna make myself be social &... go back to my room. going out tonight with my new friends who talk funny so maybe i'll have something exciting to write about later.
