There's a demi fiend in the library! Was he waiting for you? No of course not, it's a coincidence. He's there, nonetheless. Ignoring you. Unless of course you choose to talk to him, wherein he will stop.

Ed gave a quirk of his brow, noting that for once there was someone else in the library. He gave a nod of acknowledgement to the fiend, knowing better than to disturb someone who was in search of reading material.

Being the silent sort, he said nothing at all, but flipped the large page of the dry mythology book he was reading.

Admittedly, glancing at the book, he was curious. "Researching as well?"

Finally he looked up, appearing none too interested in Ed's curiousity. He replies that mythology has a very real impact on his life, and that information may be vital to him in the future.

Giving a semi-interested glance, feeling too proud to let his childish curiousity shine through, he shrugged his small shoulders. "I'm hoping I might find some information to help the quest to get home, too."

There was a small ironic smile on his face, now. Would it not be interesting if the key to escape was written somewhere in this library, among the thousands of books?

"It's hard to say if anything useful will be found, though..." Ed added, a little pessimism taking over his tone. He shrugged, finding a book that suited his needs. One that spoke of modern physics. He pulled it out and found a seat nearby, curling his small body to easily fit sideways in the seat.

The demi fiend paid little attention to Ed, once more focused on the tome before him. After several minutes, he considered that this would be an adequate opportunity to evaluate the child's character. He looked up, and asked what sort of world he had come from.

Ed was comfortable, flipping through the pages carefully. The book was a little old. He didn't mind the silence, he was used to it, getting drawn into the book as if it owned his mind like he usually would. He listened, half heartedly, and explained that, accordign to what he'd read it was similar to the early 1900's in the most common world, he noted, called 'earth'.

So far in the past...well, from what little he had seen of this young man, it would make little difference in their communications. He commented that it must be difficult to adjust to circumstances such as these.

Edward shrugged, flipping another page, eyes trained to the text even if his ears still somewhat picked up on what he was being told. "I adapt fairly well to knew environments. I traveled a good bit, back home. Despite a little bit of culture shock, it hasn't been too much trouble."

Travellers did tend to be more well-adjusted than the regular fare of society. Another point towards his personality. He said that Edward must feel very restricted, being unable to explore while here.

Ed quirked a brow, finally glancing over and nodding. "I'm used to being able to explore, whether I'm allowed in a place or not. I guess I've been getting a little antsy, though," he remarked, golden eyes returning to the book in his little lap.
