Will wins the perfect bf award... but mine's a *close* second
Yeah... so the past few days have been crazy. Fun for the most part though.
Valentine's Day coach decided to practice from 5-7... right in the middle of my dinner plans! GRR! With all my friends... no, not an official date w/ a boy. But while I would have wanted to go out to eat... it actually turned out pretty well. I watched the guys scrimmage w/ Wren... we knew going in there was no hope b/c we don't have half the team yet and Wren is a 4A powerhouse!! But I got to talk w/ Goose and Slish while we were watching the guys which was amazing. Then daniel and koti came... from their non-official date, as friends. Haha, so anyway... it was really fun. And then Reed came up and confirmed that he was indeed MY VALENTINE!!!! ... we were discussing it the other day. So Donzel got hurt because of this and my reaction... "my life is now complete!" because he didn't have a valentine. So... like I said I could be his too... and he was like, no not after that... so I said he'd just have to be my boyfriend!! And so that's the story.. middle school version of my V-day boyfriend.
HAHA... AND i just know you want more so here's a letter i wrote about my love life (she emphatically asked... so she got this crap yesterday!) to a friend..
....I found Zel today since I promised I would last night. We had a great conversation about how he never talked to me in school. He said that when he did see me he'd be like "is that girl gonna talk to me? ...she's not gonna say anything!!" So I promised to find him today and I would run up to him and say hey,etc. and everyone would be like "who's that freak?" to which he said he would respond "That's MY freak! That's MY girl!!"
I finally saw him during lunch and walked up to him. I was like "I've been looking for you all day!" And he gave me a hug. *I got a few today* He had me sign a b-day card for Nick b/c it is Nick's b-day and their first playoff basketball game. I told Zel good luck and said that I was going to make him a good luck card but didn't get around to it. He's like "yeah, that would have been a real girlfriend-like thing to do, but he knew how much I loved him anyway so it was okay." I said that it was exactly it... I couldn't express my love for him in words.
But since we have 1 long lunch here on Wednesdays I had some spare time and came in a made an AMAZING card! It said "good luck" on the front with a basketball... they Steph helped draw... since I'm not that talented. On the inside I drew two stick people and wrote "donzel and amanda 4'ever" over a heart in between the two. Yeah... I was totally going for the middle school look there. But I wished him good luck, said he was my favorite basketball player and boyfriend, and said that I knew they were going to win. I added "score lots of point for me!" because he had told me that every point he scores is going to be for me tonight! ;-) I told him that he needed to keep it forever and he promised he would. I added that he needed to frame it and keep it on his wall. However, he came up with a much better? idea. He said he's going to staple it to chest right where his heart is. He agreed that it would probably hurt a lot but said it would be worth it!
... So today we like talked and the basketball team lost... but D-Z scored 15 points for me!! in his last game. He said today that everything that he does is for me. AND I was talking to 2 girls who graduated last year and he walked past and I said hey, and he comes up and puts his arm around me and says "this is my girlfriend, i just wanted you to know that!" *aww... how romantic!!!* But then Koti called me the worst girlfriend ever b/c I didn't wait on him to come out of his last period class. So then I turned around and told him what Koti said. But DZ said that it was okay. And he was my boyfriend! And *sigh* it was sweet... and we established that I was trying and the relationship was new so it was okay. So he actually walked to the gym w/ me and when Koti left talked to me and gave me a few hugs in front of people. *hehe, which immediately elicited questions when i walked away*
I mean, what can I say!?! He's like the perfect boyfriend (and star athlete!)... except we're not dating.
But hey... now that I've successfully rambled on for forever...b/c I'm EXTREMELY bored... and WAY OVER TIRED!!!! The real story of my life....
