[ Action : 840 Hastings Blvd : Housemates (and guests?) ]
[ There are a lot of ways to play pranks on Touma, but this was going too far. He spent the day searching the entire house for hidden cameras, or microphones, or some kind of clues that he was on a game show of some time. You know the sort -- Let's Hide While We Confuse This Poor Sap Into Thinking His Life Has Changed, or something like that. It started with his clothes and his room, then was coupled with the "family" pictures he was greeted by when he went downstairs and checked the shelves. ]
They can't fool me. [ Touma grumbled to himself, locked in "his" room in the strange house. ] I might not remember my family, but I know that's not my mom and dad. [ Do I even have a sister? He recalls the photos from home, tucked away in an album. It was about all he had, since they rarely wrote or called, but it was enough to convince him of this truth. Not to mention all his school records and books had his name written on them, and that was Kamijou Touma not the name that was written on the notebook found in his drawer here.
Hell, he even knows this isn't the kind of homework he should be working on. Where are the theories and practices of precognition? Where is his English work? The sign-up sheet for the festival coming up in a short while?
Everything was wrong and someone was going through a lot of effort to make him believe things were supposed to be like this. Was this a test of some kind? Was he having a weird vivid dream? If so, he should be able to hit himself or wake up or something! ] This is too weird.
[ Giving up for now, he sighs and collapses onto the bed, a hand over his eyes. ] Just my luck...
[ After a few minutes of that, Touma gets up and meanders out into the hall. One thing he knew for sure, whatever was happening, he was hungry, and if it looked like he belonged her, at least that means he should be able to raid th fridge. ]
[ Action : Outside ]
[ Sticking near the rows of houses, Touma wandered around with his hands in his pockets. Most of the buildings all looked the same, but weren't nearly modern enough to have anything to do with Academy City. If he's lucky (hah!), walking down the road far enough will lead him to some kind of main road or border. Maybe he can figure out where exactly he is and how he can get out of here.
That is, if he watches where he's going and doesn't bump into anyone first. ]
