oops
I made a big faux pas in my last post: I didn’t attribute Secret Society Girl to its author, Diana Peterfreund. (I had mentioned her in my first entry about the book, but I still should have mentioned it in my last post.)
Ms. Peterfreund was gracious enough to comment on my review, which was so kind considering:
a) it’s not the best review I’ve ever given (although I do recommend the book) and
b) it’s not as if our little book blog from the Carolinas has any sort of influence on the literary world (or even our five readers)!
So her comment was a lovely surprise. Hooray, nice authors!
