25 Unicorn Street, Sunday Morning

Typically, Clint got up at a decent hour on Sundays to try to get things done, but that wasn't going to happen today. Today, he was celebrating the end of the ghost weirdness waking up and not moving. He had Kitty in his bed, Lucky and Rook resting somewhere nearby, and there were no less than four bandages on his body. All was right with the world

Kitty was thinking about the same thing, snuggling closer to Clint. "This is too comfortable," she decided.

"I think it's just comfortable enough," Clint said, draping his arm over her. "And it's nice because I can ignore whatever's snowing outside."

"Ugh, is it snowing something weird?" Kitty asked, not even picking her head up to look. "If it's snowing something weird I'm staying here today. Or if it's snowing snow."

"It looks like sugar," Clint said. "But if it's snow, you should still stay here. Baby it's cold outside blah blah however the rest of the song goes."

"Oh no, you're suck with me. Whatever shall you do?" Kitty smiled.

Clint gave Kitty a very dirty grin as he rolled closer and kissed her on the cheek. "I can think of a lot of answers to that question, most of which reward me for being a hero yesterday."

"And you deserve all the praise and adulation for that," she agreed. "Along with other stuff you've probably already come up with."

"Most of it doesn't even involve us moving," Clint said, laughing. "I'm really glad the worst thing that came out of this week for us is some scratches. I probably would have done something stupid if you'd gotten hurt."

"You're sweet. But don't do anything stupid," she said, giving him a little kiss. "I'm not really sure I could get hurt by ghosts. Half the time I'm not that different from them."

"Hey, that's not true. You're not... it's not the same at all," Clint said, sitting up a little. "You're a person who just happens to not be solid sometimes. It's totally different than ghosts."

"You didn't see me when I got stuck being intangible. It was really pretty similar, aside from the dead part," Kitty said. "I just have control over it. And that's fine."

"Yeah well, that's not going to happen again." Oh Clint. "I'm sorry it happened at all."

"I got better. And it means I got to hang in England for a couple years," she told him with a shrug. "For the record, I'm glad you didn't get hurt this week, either."

Beyond the usual bandages, anyway.

"Hey, I totally have scratches, look," Clint said, straightening his arm out for her. "That second island is weird and I'm not going to be able to go into a toy store for a little while."

"Was that really on your to-do list to begin with?" Kitty wondered.

"Not really, but still. I'm just glad I ended up going since it was me and a bunch of students. And a girl who graduated, I think, but she was still pretty young," he said. "It's things like that that remind me how I couldn't do what you do and take care of so many kids."
