(no subject)
Today isn't a regular day at all. For one, I wished that classes were not suspended. kj na kung kj pero kasi natambakan tuloy ako ng dapat pag-aralan! Badtrip nakaligo nako tapos biglang nag-announce sa tv na walang pasok pati college. Ok na sana na maaga ako nagising at nakaligo pero ang nakakainis ay ang pagpupuyat ko sa pagrereview para sa test ko dapat kanina! Sayang ang efforts ko. Oo na, you'll tell me that it's better dahil at least nakapag-aral nako eh pero kasi my mind doesn't work that way. Kapag nareresked ang mga tests ko at nakapagaral nako beforehand, usually mas mababa ang nakukuha ko dahil nasasabay siya sa iba pang mga tests-which is what happened na nga! Instead of just having to prepare and review for one test on monday, nadagdagan pa tuloy...Oh well, i don't have much of a choice, do I?! This may not be the right time to be sentimental, cheesy and mababaw, but this suspension ruined my last official school/class day of my college life! great timing huh! I should have enjoyed our block lunch out more yesterday! hehe
But even though there were no classes, I went to still went to school and met with my groupmates for our final defense SCHEDULED tomorrow. But, suprise ulit dahil it was postponed to a date we still don't know! great! Akala ko pa naman, matatapos na ang mga dapat ko gawin by wednesday next week...At nagkakagulo na sa mga kalye ng Maynila nagpapractice pa kami! Haha pinapagalitan na nga ako ng mom ko dahil gabi na raw at hindi pa ako umuuuwi. I guess it can also be a blessing in disguise dahil I (as well as my batchmates) are given more time to prepare for our finals.
We are now in State of Emergency! totoo ba ito?! Parang hindi totoo, parang ayaw magsink-in. I can't believe this is happening again. Don't tell me magkakaron na naman ng EDSA 4?! Ano ba yan, di na ba talaga natuto ang mga Pinoy. Sheet! This may sound selfish but I would just like to finish my college life without any glitches whatsoever. Baka hindi pa matuloy dahil sa kaguluhang ito. As it is, nagugulantang at nagugulo na niya ang buhay ko, buhay nating lahat! Nakakainis na nga rin manood ng tv dahil after GMA had declared a State of Emergency at ipinagbawal ang mga rally, may mga pulis na nananakit ng mga rallyista! What does it say about her and her administration?! Ewan! At ngayon habang sinusulat ko ito, may balitang pinasok daw ng mga pulis or military, (basta, mga tauhan ng administrasyon) ang office ng Daily Tribune, which is a critique of the current administration. What the hell is happening?! Is history going to repeat itself? I just hope this situation doesn't get worse. Sobrang hirap na ang dinaranas ng ating bansa at ng mga Pinoy, mukhang madadagdagan pa lalo! The first and most visible effect is that of our exchange rate. Fine, it may not be the sole basis but it is still one nevertheless. Kung nung tumaas nga ang halaga ng piso eh hindi nag-imporve ang ating ekonomiya at estado, pano pa kaya kapag bumaba? goodluck na lang ba talaga satin?
But amidst all these, there were certain unexpected happenings. This day was definitely a good one but people were really surprisingly sweet and thoughtful today. It had balanced out everything! Thanks a lot guys! Nakakuha ako ng text at pangangamusta mula sa mga taong hindi ko inaasahang magtatanong. Out of the blue, bigla na lang nagtext. :D Even though I didn't tell you about it, you guys actually made a difference in the mood of the day. It helped me see a certain "light/brightness" amidst all of what's happening. Thanks guys! It really made a LOT of difference...
