dizzy up the lisa
i have so much on at the moment i get dizzy just thinking about it. i can't hold everything in my head at once and i keep forgetting things.
- last week i had the conference from hell. the keynote speaker dropped out 5 minutes before he was on and everything went tits up. it was very exhausting.
- last night i got free tickets to the filming of channel 4's the album chart show at koko in camden. it was ace. on the bill were lily allen, paulo nutini, guillemots and james dean bradfield. it was wicked fun. i love koko - its a brilliant venue. with the biggest glitterball ever.
- the exchange of contracts on my new flat went through on monday - so that is exciting. i am now officially a property owner! i should move in beginning of august. woo!
- my dad is in hospital and is really really sick. his heart is basically buggered. they pumped about 23 litres of fluid out of his body because his heart is not pumping it where it is supposed to go. his whole body shape has changed with all the fluid. its insane. i went up to the countryside and visited him over the weekend and stayed until monday night. it made me very very sad.
- tomorrow is my work summer party at walthamstow dog track. i have single-handedly organised it and nobody else has done a bloody thing! even though there was a whole committee to do it!
- friday afternoon also brings the big interview for the job i really really want. i'm not going to say what it is because i don't want to jinx it - but keep things crossed!
- i have lots of friends coming down this weekend for a big university reunion - i haven't seen them in ages and i'm super excited.
- this saturday is also my exciting birthday soiree. on friday i have another birthday to go to and also a farewell party.
- next week thursday i'll be in morocco.
