Morrissey is touring N. America! I am so happy. The first half of the dates were just posted. No Minnesota yet, but I'm pretty hopeful.
(Edited to add) Also, I was pretty hopeful when I heard Joss Whedon was working on Buffy season 8, but it sounds like it wasn't picked up. So, he's releasing it as a comic. I'm disappointed. But I think I might give the comic a chance.
