Between Reality & Lies : Chapter 4
CHAPTER 4
The stage lights up as their opening song starts to play and two figures steps up....
Suddenly the place erupted with applause and scream. Some tried their best to take a glimpse of the people on stage coz from where the boys stand; people can only see their silhouettes.
People moved along with the tune of REAL FACE indicating that that group was able to successfully set the mood for their audience.
Junno and Yuichi clap and whistle as they move along with the beat. Though Jin is doing the same, his movement shows it's only halfhearted coz in his mind, he's trying to picture out the face behind the voice.
'Will his face matches the voice he emits' Jin question 'sweet, innocent yet... addictive?'
Another song followed entitled YOU. Of course Jin knows the song by heart, so he sing along just to distract himself, coz he's starting to get impatient ' I just want to get over the suspense once and for all' he told himself
"Are they planning to sing as silhouettes the whole night?" He unintentionally said out loud. Junno who's standing beside him, innocently asked "why Jin, suddenly you're eager to see them? I thought you don't like them?"
Jin wanted to slap himself for the slip... He just remember that he often told them he doesn't like the group and criticize them whenever he can, "me and my big, big mouth" he muttered.
"Did you say something?" Asked Yuichi "NO! Just focus on the show ok!" snap Jin. The older guy just gives him a blank stare then turns back his attention to the performers on stage.
"Why all of a sudden these two has a good sense of hearing, in spite the noise?!!" grumbled Jin.
He look at the people around him and they don't seem to mind that those two artist hasn't shown their faces, so maybe he's the only one having a problem
At last the song has ended, and once again the big booming voice announce "AND NOW... LET ME INTRODUCE TO YOU TOUCH!!! LET ME CALL ON THE FIRST MEMBER.... PLEASE WELCOME... TATSUYA!!!"
Once again the audience made a thunderous applause as Tatsuya was called on to the center stage beaming and waving to them.
"Hey he can pass as a girl!" commented Yuichi, "though he looks kinda familiar to me"
" Haha! Of course... He's the lead star in the stage play Romeo & Juliet... He's Romeo, just to clarify... Hahaha! " Junno said
"EEEHHH?!!!!!! Is that him??? Wow! Though he's also fit to play as Juliet "
Jin carefully observe the person talking on stage, if that's how Tatsuya looks like then most likely the other member will look almost if not exactly like that...
So he tried to focus what's happening on stage, afraid to miss out anything.
"And now, I know all of you are anxious to meet the other half of TOUCH" Tatsuya smiled at everyone. It was answered with a loud yes and screaming from their fans.
"So let's not wait any further... Let me introduce to you the baby member of TOUCH.... KAZUYA!!!"
Another deafening clap was heard on the Dome. But when the youngest member stepped into the light the place erupted with another ear piercing holler from the audience.
Coz the person who's standing at the center stage is none other than...
"KAMENASHI?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jin exclaimed....
His two friends snap their head on his direction when they heard his surprised voice. Yuichi, try to observe Jin's reaction and it's full of bewilderment, but as to why he can't exactly tell.
Conversation starts to circulate around the arena as people trying to comprehend what's going on until Kazuya starts to speak.
"Good evening to everyone! Are you surprise to see me?" He said smiling at the crowd. And he was answered with a loud yes. So this is his cue to start what he needs to say.
"Once again we are TOUCH! It's a pleasure having you all here tonight. Maybe we need to tell you some random facts about us."
”Individually, we are known as Ueda and Kamenashi. We do dramas, stage plays and even movies. But as a group, we prefer to be called Tatsuya and Kazuya or just simply TOUCH."
And as he can see, the audience is listening to what he's trying to explain so he continues “the reason behind this is that, the group is different from our individual activities and we like people to appreciate our music because they like and enjoy them."
"And not because we're Ueda and Kamenashi" added by the older member
And together they bow to the audience and said "It's been a great 2 years for us, hope you'll still continue to support us. And thank you for your warm reception!"

"Yu, Jin... the concert is good, ne?" bubbly Junno said. "Yup, full of surprises indeed" answered Yuichi
Jin, didn't answer; instead he's trying to comprehend what happened. He was anticipating to see the person behind the voice that drives him nuts. And who was that person? Kamenashi. Kamenashi Kazuya...
Then he remembers what he's been thinking of earlier ' there's something familiar about him but I can't pin point what'. Then suddenly, everything falls into place and his question, finally been answered. ‘His voice! ‘
Of course why didn't he notice it before? Then he realizes he hasn’t heard the boy talk... It's always his song that keeps Jin company.
His train of thoughts was interrupted when he heard Yuichi's phone ring. Trying to distract himself, he focus on his friend's conversation
"Hello" Yuichi answered
"Yo! Yu... Did you and your friends attend the concert?" asked by the person in the other line
"Yup, we're about to leave now. We're near the exit actually"
"Oh, don't go yet... I'll meet you at the exit and let's have dinner together"
"Ok, I'll ask them first if its fine with them" then Yuichi turn to the two guys and asked "is it ok if we meet my childhood friend? He said let's have dinner together"
"Sure. No problem" Jin replied. Junno agreed as well "of course, it's the least we can do after he gave us free tickets to the concert."
So Yuichi once again lift the phone to his ears and said OK to his friend.
"Great, we'll meet you outside. I'll bring along my friends too, the more the merrier, right?"
"Sure see you in a while" then he ended the call
When they reached the exit, Yuichi try to find his friend while Jin and Junno follow him. And at last standing at the corner is his childhood friend…
"Oi! KOKI!” Called out Yuichi
