PART 8
Akihiko frantically search every possible place where he thinks Yuuki will be. He tried going to their next door neighbor, on the park near by their place, he even went to the pet shop where he and Yuuki usually go to.
“Where are you Yuuki? I can’t bear it if something happens to you again” Akihiko desperately plead.
Then he continues his search, praying with all his might that he’ll find the one person whom he loves with all his heart.
Yuuki sat quietly for almost 3 hours now at the same bench he sat on a few days ago.
‘Why did you choose to lie to me Akihiko?’

“Where are you going?”
“It doesn’t concern you where I’ll be going” Yuuki firmly answered as he drags his suit case towards their door.
“You’re leaving me?” Akihiko questioned
“You no longer need me in your life”
“That’s not true. I need you.”
“No you don’t. You have her, what’s the use of me being by your side”
“We’re no longer together”
“Because you were caught by her fiancé, but if not I’ll still be the clueless stupid lover who thinks I solely own you.”
“Please Yuuki, let’s work it out. Promise I’ll make it up to you” his love once again beg
“I’m sorry, Akihiko… I’m tired of your promises, promises that you have no intentions of keeping.” Then he twist the door knob in order to step out when he heard him say
“I love you… I love you so much” Akihiko tearfully shout
It breaks his heart hearing this because he hasn’t heard these very words for quite some time from the person he love most.
“Thank you Akihiko… I’m glad to hear it from you even though this will be last time. Coz I longed to hear that for such a long time. I loved you too…” Yuuki send him a sad smile before softly closing the door.

“Yuuki…”
A voice break his stream of memories and when he open his eyes and look up to see who just called him, he saw a panting a almost crying lover gazing down at him.
“What do you want Akihiko?” he coldly asked.
“I see that you ended up hiding in our old school” The older man quietly said.
“This was our school?”
“You don’t remember where we first met?”
Yuuki look at his surrounding before standing up “I see… Maybe that’s why I feel comfortable staying at this place. Our story started here.”
And before he knew it, he was pulled into a tight embrace and heard a soft sob coming from the man holding him.
“I’m sorry Yuuki chan. I’m sorry for all the pains I’ve caused you and for lying to you about us. I’m just afraid, so much afraid that if you’ll discover it you’ll leave me once again just like what you did in the past.”
He kept his silence for a while waiting for his lover to finish what he’s about to say.
“I know that I’ve not been a good partner to you. I made promises which I wasn’t able to keep. But this time, if you’ll just give me a chance I promise and I mean it, I’ll keep each and every promises I make to you. Before, I hurt you with my actions but this time, I’ll see to it that I’ll consider your feelings. Just please don’t leave me.”
Yuuki can’t help but to cry upon hearing these words, he wanted to be stubborn and shut his ears from listening to these words but his heart request him to pay attention. And after a while he spoke.
“You know the day that I had my accident; I remember that I saw you standing at the other end of the street. I wanted to walk towards you and just forget about our disagreement few days ago when I pack my bag and left our place but my pride and the pains I felt remembering the things you’ve done made me stop, so I scamper to the direction where I come from but unfortunately I got hit by a car.”
“I’m such a fool for doing all those things to you. When all you did is to love me unconditionally to the extent of almost losing your identity just to please me. I’m so sorry”
And this time Yuuki returned Akihiko’s embrace. Yes he knows that what Akihiko did was wrong. The pains he cause will forever leave a scar in Yuuki’s heart. But he can’t dwell on the past forever.
He knows that Akihiko caused his death but at the same time he know that this same man is the only one who can resurrect him and can make him whole once again.
“If you can promise that you’ll be here with me forever then I’ll promise that I’ll never leave you no matter what happens” he stares and smiled at former and present lover
“Yuuki? Are you trying to say? You’re accepting my apology?” Akihiko smiles making his face lit up though there are still traces of tears left.
“Yes. Coz we can’t live in the past forever. So if we’ll take each others hand I know we can survive the present and make way to our future”
This earns another tight hug from the other causing Yuuki to almost lose his breath. Then the next words uttered by Akihiko made him speechless.
“Thank you… I promise I won’t disappoint you this time… Kurosawa Yuuki”
“Kurosawa Yuuki? Are you saying…?”
“Yes! The first promise I’m about to keep is to make you legally mine”
Realizing that after all the trials they’ve been through they still get a hold with a happy ending. And with this they shared another warm embrace and a soft meeting of their lips sealing their eternal promise.

Also, I think I promised someone some time ago that I'll write a healthy Yuuki ( I mean he didn't die in the end )
