Summary: Kamenashi Kazuya is in love with Ueda Tatsuya from Boice Club. However due to an incident , he was forced to make a deal with another member Akanishi Jin. For Kazuya,if it's the only way to meet and get to know Tatsuya personally he's willing to seal the deal. But will he make it until the end without having a change of heart?

Chapter 24: Message
“Are you sure you’re ok with this?”
“Yes.”
Tatsuya answered as he tries to get a comfortable position on his sofa with Ryo sitting besides him.
This is one of the rare occasions where he and the latter are on the same place and manage not to throwing snide words towards each other.
He’ll just assume that because it’s their birthday, they’re setting aside their differences for a while.
“Wow lookie! Those two are sharing the same couch without ripping each others throat” Toma teased.
“SHUT UP!” the two cried at the same time earning a hearty laugh from their friend.
Their conversation was cut when Tatsuya’s door suddenly burst open with Takeru and Koji stepping inside.
“Hello everyone, sorry we’re late.”
“Take chan, glad you could make it.”
“Of course anything for my Onii chan” and this earn a warm smile.
“Hey duck mouth.” Ryo called out
Tatsuya glance at him and he saw that Ryo was staring at his brother’s friend.
“Huh? Me? Duck mouth?” Koji dumbly point at himself.
“Yeah, I’m talking to you.”
“His name is Koji.” Tatsuya curtly interrupt.
“Fine Koji it is. Can I talk to you for a while?”
The young man gave both Tatsuya and Takeru a slight glance before nodding his head and then followed Ryo as he stepped outside towards Tatsuya’s balcony.
“What do you think he’ll ask Koji?” the younger brother asked.
“Who knows” then Tatsuya glance at his watch “he’s late”
“Are you expecting someone Tat chan?” Pi inquired as he took the spot previously owned by Ryo.
“Yes, Kame chan. He said he’ll drop by.”
“Kame chan will be here?”
Tomohisa casually glance at Jin to see if the other heard what he just said and luckily he did. He saw Jin squirm on his seat but at the same time puts a cool façade.
“I said it would be better if Kame chan will go out and unwind, it will do him good. And Koki agree with me.”
“I’m glad to hear that Kame chan is getting better.”
Tatsuya just smile as he turns his gaze towards his band mate who’s currently trying to act nonchalant and before anyone can speak once again, they heard the door bell ring.
“Maybe that’s Kame chan.”
As Ueda stood up to get the front door, Tomohisa approached Jin and asked “will it be alright if he’s here?”
“It doesn’t matter to me.” The latter coldly replied.
“I think it does...”

“Kame chan, will you be alright? I mean the entire Boice Club is here which means Jin is here too.”
“Un…Don’t worry Tat chan… It’s been a month since the incident… I’m slowly getting better. I already accepted the fact that Jin already moved on so I guess I should do the same, right?”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, I decided to let go and move forward as well.”
Tatsuya smile as he heard this “I see... Ok, let’s go now”
As he turns his back and about to walk towards the living room, Kazuya pulled his wrist signaling him to stop.
“Ne, Tat chan… I have something to give you”
“Really, what is it?”

“I didn’t know that opening a god damn door is such a difficult task.” Jin hissed as he furiously scans the channels on Tatsuya’s television.
“Is there a problem Jin?” Tomohisa asked in false innocence although he perfectly heard what the other just said.
“Nothing, I’m just having a hard time choosing channel.”
“Ne Jin… Are you looking forward to see Kame chan once again? He’s just a few steps away from you now.”
“No, I’m not. It doesn’t concern me if he’s here… ” Jin quietly answered.
“Alright. That’s good to hear. At least I won’t be torn between thinking you’ll get hurt with Kame and Tatsuya’s closeness or feel happy that Kame chan can smile once again.”
Jin gave Tomohisa a mixture of surprise, confuse and hurt look. And somehow that look satisfies the other.
‘Stupid guy, he should learn to match his reaction with his words.’

“Pi, I’m sorry for what I’ve done to you when you drop by Koki’s house before” as Kazuya slight bow his head in apology.
They’re now standing inside Tatsuya’s bedroom after Kazuya asked Tomohisa if they could talk somewhere private.
“Don’t worry Kame chan, I completely understand. Those were rough days for you right?”
“Yes. But still, it’s not right for me to act that way. Don’t worry; slowly I’m trying to walk forward. Little by little I know I’ll be totally OK.”
“I’m glad to hear that. But can I ask you something, I don’t mean to open up an old wound but I just want to hear it from you. I hope you don’t mind.”
The young man gave him a small smile
“I won’t blame you if you would take Jin’s side. I still stand with what I previously said. But it doesn’t matter anymore, he didn’t listen to me before so why should I bother explaining myself now.”
Tomohisa was about to open his mouth but Kazuya didn’t gave him an chance to speak
“Besides I think he finally moved on so I’m trying my best to do the same. I’ll wish for Jin and Takeru chan’s happiness.”
“No Kame chan, you ~~”
“Hahaha! It’s alright Pi, no need to explain. I accepted it.”
“How about you and Tat chan, are you together once again?”
“Tat chan and I have a very special relationship.”
“So you mean~~” And once again Kazuya block what he’s about to say.
“No we’re not together but we have a special relationship.”
“Huh? What special relationship? Tell me!”
“It’s a secret between Tat chan and me” Kazuya softly answered.
“Mou… Ka~me~ chan!” Pi starts shaking and tickling Kazuya who starts laughing uncontrollably unaware of someone watching their actions.
‘What’s their secret’ Jin muttered as he tries his best to hide beside the slightly ajar bedroom door.

“What do you want?”
“I want to give you something.”
“What? Your engagement invitation?”
“You’re one stupid guy.”
“And you’re the smart one coz in the end you still end up getting what you want.”
“I’m not here to argue with you ok”
Jin turned around and face his band mate “So what do you want to give me Tatsuya?”
Ueda grabs Jin’s hand and place a piece of paper on his palm “Open it up” he instructed.
“This is Kazuya’s writing.”
“Yes, he gave it to me as one of his present. But I’m giving it to you because I think this is for you.”
“Huh? Are you trying to pull my leg here Tat chan?”
“No. Why should I? I just want you to realize something.”
“And what is that?”
“He’s starting to move forward. And if you don’t start following his steps you might lose him forever.”
“And that’s what you want right?”
“What do you think?”

“Takeru chan?”
“Huh? You’re Kamenashi san right, Jin’s ex-lover?”
It was like slap on his face. He thought that this will be an easy task, but the words uttered by Jin’s current lover, pierced through his heart.
“Yes, that’s me.”
“What can I do for you?”
“I just want to say that, please take good care of Jin.” After a quick bow, Kazuya pivoted and walked away.

“Stop your damn game.”
“Huh?”
“Don’t make me repeat myself.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“I know you do.”
Ryo then left Koji standing in the balcony as the latter glare at his retreating back.
‘What are you trying to tell me Nishikido Ryo?’
