Summary: Kamenashi Kazuya is in love with Ueda Tatsuya from Boice Club. However due to an incident , he was forced to make a deal with another member Akanishi Jin. For Kazuya,if it's the only way to meet and get to know Tatsuya personally he's willing to seal the deal. But will he make it until the end without having a change of heart?

Chapter 14: Reality
"What do you want to tell me? Seems like it's very important considering you chose to meet before we start our work?"
They're now sitting inside a cafe near their building coz earlier that day Jin called Tatsuya and told him that they need to talk.
"I'll go straight to the point. What does Kazuya means to you? Do you really love him or you're just playing with his emotions?"
"What Kame chan means to me is none of your business. Besides, who are you to question me when you don't even know what he really means to you?"
"I love him"
These three simple words caught Tatsuya off-guard coz he didn't expect Jin to directly admit his feelings for Kazuya.
"I thought you said you only love him as a friend? What made you change your mind?"
"It's none of your business"
"IT IS MY BUSINESS coz as far as I can remember; you're the one who's eagerly pushing me to Kame's direction. If I can quote you correctly you said 'Tat chan, I hope you'll give yourself a chance to get to know Kazuya more. I think he's not difficult to like' and when I asked you if you don't feel anything for him, what did you reply 'For me he's a precious friend. But romantically speaking no' Now tell me? How come it's none of my business?"
Jin didn't say anything for a while, yes he still remember what he told Tatsuya several months ago.
'But who am I to know that it will turn out to be this way' Jin silently scream.
Jin's thoughts were interrupted when he heard his friend say "If you think I'll give way just because you're man enough to admit your feelings for him, you're wrong. I don't easily give up on people who are important to me."
"Then I'll just have to steal him away from you. I'll win Kazuya's heart" Jin whispered
"But let me remind you, his heart belongs to me" Tatsuya replied, obviously he heard what the latter said just now.
"You're being too confident, don't you think?"
"No. I'm just stating a fact. No more no less" With that Tatsuya stood up and place some bills on the table.
"I'm going, don't worry my treat. Think of it as my gift for your courage in admitting your feelings for someone who won't even love you in return" with that he calmly walks out of the cafe and into their agency.

'So Kazuya won't return my feelings? How can Tatsuya be sure of it? What had happen to us....Doesn't it mean anything to him? Is he just playing with me?'
These are some of the questions that plague Jin's mind all through out the day. And when he see how close Tatsuya and Kazuya are, it doubles the pain that he feels inside his heart and the troubling pain in his head.
"I need to know the answer. I just have to" he uttered softly as he watched the two laughs at something and seems like they're having the best time of their lives.
Then he saw Kazuya excused himself and head towards him.
"Ne Jin, Maru, Koki and Junno invited us to have dinner tonight. Will that be alright with you?"
Jin wasn't able to answer right away coz his mind was still focused at the scene earlier. So Kazuya try to shake him a bit with a confuse look on his face.
"Jin? Jin? Are you alright?"
"Ah! Ye-yes・I'm ok Kazu chan don't worry" Then he gave the smaller man a reassuring smile "Sure. where are we going to meet?"
"Same place they said. Are you sure you're alright?" And now Jin can clearly see and feel that Kazuya is worried about him.
"Yup I'm alright don't worry to much my precious one ok" then he give Kazuya a cheeky grin before hugging him, he doesn't care if everyone in their room gives him an odd look. He wants to show Kazuya how much he loves him.
But when he looks at Tatsuya's direction, the calmness in his face irritates and worries Jin to the point that he wants to march to where the other one is currently sitting and wipe that confident smirk on his face.
Then he heard the man he's holding laugh with what he just said and gave him a quick peck on the cheek "Thanks sweetie, I'll tell them we're coming tonight" then he detached him self with the older guy and proceed outside to make a call.
"Ne, you're one lucky guy Jinjin" tease Toma as he watches his friend grin like an idiot. "Kame chan's a really nice person isn't it? And very caring too."
"Yeah, he is" added Ryo "Too bad there's someone here who wants to ruin that beautiful relationship" then he gave Tatsuya a too obvious look to let him know that he's the one Ryo is referring to.
"If you don't have anything sensible to say, better shut your mouth" Tatsuya coldly answered
"Why are you reacting that way? I didn't name names. Are you affected? Did I hurt your pride?" the smaller man continues his sarcastic remarks.
"Not everyone is stupid as you Ryo. Of course everyone know I'm the one you're referring to? Who else if it wasn't me?"
"Then I say, you better know your position in this so called love triangle"
"OK STOP!" cried Toma as he can see that Tatsuya and Ryo are about to walk up on each other and start throwing punches.
"Ryo, stop that comment, whether it's true or not we don't have the right to interfere with their business" then he looks at Tatsuya and softly say "As for you, I'm really disappointed. I thought you're Jin's best friend."
The room was suddenly filled with uncomfortable silence that when Kazuya and Tomohisa entered they suddenly felt it too.
"Guys, what's wrong?" Pi asked as he settles his things on the side of their dresser.
"Nothing's wrong Pi! We're just not in the mood to fool around that's all" Toma answered with force cheerfulness.
Tomohisa being Tomohisa notice this but didn't said anything. He have a slight idea what had happen but he doesn't want to brought up the topic when the person concerned is beside him and don't have the slightest idea that somehow he's the cause of this tense atmosphere.
"Ne, Kazu. Let's go and meet the gang" Jin suddenly announced earning a surprise look from the person he's talking to.
"But Jin you have dance rehearsal today, you can't skip that. I can wait until the practice finishes."
"It's alright; I'll just tell Hiroyuki san that you're not feeling well, besides I'm not in the mood to work today"
And without waiting for Kazuya to protest, Jin walk towards the table and pick up his bag before turning to his band mates and said "Kindly inform the choreographer and Manager san that Kazuya is not feeling well so I have to take her home"
"Ok Jin. Enjoy the rest of your day with Kame chan" Tomohisa said as he bid them goodbye.

"Jin what really happen earlier?" Kazuya can't help but asked.
They're now resting at their home before meeting their three friends later that evening.
"Nothing, Tatsuya and Ryo just had a small misunderstanding that's all"
"About what?"
"About work, their idea just didn't match."
"Ah, I see"
Then Jin hugs Kazuya tightly and this surprises the young man.
"Why? What's the matter?"
"Nothing, I just wanna hold you this way"
Upon hearing this, Kazuya return the hug and buried his face on Jin's neck. "You smell good" he teased
"Hahaha! Of course, I want to smell good for my Kazu" Jin childishly replied.
So they stayed on that position for quite while and after sometime Jin broke the silence by saying "I love you Kazu." Upon hearing this Kazuya laugh and answer back "And I love you too Jin"
But he got confuse when he felt Jin shaking his head and he heard him say "You don't understand"
"What I don't understand?" he asked.
"The words I just told you"
"Huh? I don't get it."
Just then Jin pulled away from him and looks him straight in the eye before saying those words again "LOVE YOU KAZUYA."
"I know. You just said that earlier right?"
"NO! You don't understand! Listen to me, I love you... As you Kazuya!" Jin repeat giving emphasis on each and every words. This time Kazuya starts to understand what the other's trying to imply.
"But...But... Tat chan?" he started to say when he's rudely interrupted by the other
"WOULD YOU PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT UEDA!"Jin cried out of frustration. "IT'S ALWAYS BEEN UEDA THIS AND UEDA THAT. I'M GETTING SICK OF IT!"
Jin knows that it's wrong to just shout at Kazuya but his jealousy, hurt, insecurities and frustrations wins over his logic.
"Tell me Kazuya? Do you really love Ueda? DO you really LOVE him?"
To say that he's surprise with Jin's outburst is an understatement. This is the first time Kazuya saw Jin lose his cool. But he musters some courage to answer back.
" I... I... decided to love Tat chan since the very beginning"
"Decided? DECIDED! What the hell is that?! " Jin scream "You can't decide to just love someone. What! Is love just a game for you?"
"WOULD YOU STOP IT! WHO ARE YOU TO KNOW WHAT I REALLY FEEL FOR TAT CHAN? YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE ONE REAL AND SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP TO START WITH. SO. WHO. ARE. YOU. TO. LECTURE. ME. ABOUT LOVE? Kazuya cried coz his patience is also wearing thin.
Jin keep quiet for a while before softly saying "YOU. You're the one who taught me how to feel. You are the one who taught me how to love. I didn't plan it, I didn't intend for this to happen but it did! I just woke up one day and I realize that YOU ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN MY LIFE."
Caught off guard with what Jin just said Kazuya can only ask "Why?"
"Because you're the one who accepted me for who I really am. You snatched away the mask which I carefully place in order to hide my true self. You gave me joy with simple things you say or do."
"But from the very start you know I like Tat chan?" the latter stubbornly asked
"Like? Are you saying that you only like Tat chan? How about me? What do you feel for me Kazu?"
"I don't know. Like I've said before we're more than friends~~~" But this was once again cut by Jin's angry words
"DAMMIT! I DON'T WANNA HEAR THOSE WORDS! IS THAT WHAT I AM TO YOU? IT"S LIKE YOU'RE TRYING TO SAY THAT WE'RE JUST FRIENDS WITH BENEFIT."
Then his voice grew smaller when he said "Is that what I am to you Kazu?Is that we really are? Friends with benefit?"
