Hume Lake Winter Camp 2005
WOW!! What a great weekend!! Funny how I totally thought that I wasn't going to have fun but I totally did . . . my girls in my cabin were so amazing and I got a chance to spend time witht hem and stengthen my relationship with them and make new ones too . . .
**Saturday was the decision nite and I told God that I wasn't going to pray with a certain group of girls cuz I was too scared and I didn't have confidence in myself enough or know what I was exactly going to do or say, but God told me I was, and when no other staff from our church went over there I knew it was me who had to do it, no excuses, God had my back and I just needed to trust Him on this one, so I walked over there and got the oppertunity to pray with a girl named Brittany and God really used me to reach out to her and help her through this hard time she is going through and I did, boy am I blessed and honored to have been apart of making a diffrence in this girls life. I am glad that God knows whats best for me and what he wants me to do even though I think diffrently or don't . . . **
by far the best part of the weekend with the van ride up and back (Me and Dave Cox and a whole van full of 8th grade boys!! Yikes!!) . . . it was so cool to get a chance to talk to meet some of them and talk with them and just get to know people I never ever knew before . . . the funny thing about it was that 5 of them go to LAB and we totally hit it off and just totally connected in a cool way!! (I HEART NICK, ANDREW, DJ, CALVIN, and CHUCKLES!!)We did tons of riddles and have tons of inseide jokes . . . most are with Nick cuz he is just the coolest . . .

Nick: "WAIT, did he have a drivers licence??"
Dave: "Umm, irrelivent" . . . ha ha!! . . . Me not getting the riddle and almost crying and everyone else in the van getting it, including Nick, and them all yelling at me to LISTEN!! ahh!! Gatta love those boys!!

It was so fun walking down the hall today and getting a hug from a new face . . . =) . . . I love my boys!!
Camp was an amazing experience to test myself and to also grow closer to new friends and people that I can help walk the path and take the journey towards Jesus with. I love being on WildLife Staff!!
