Friends Cut
I was going to wait until I got back to uni and decided how heavy my workload was before I did this, but then I came on LJ for the first time in 36 hours, and I had to go back 320 entries to find the last post that I saw. Even filtering out communities, it was still at 110, and this is... Insane. I was feeling guilty in France that I feel like I'm neglecting some of my closest friends on here, and there are so many who I'd love to get to know better, but just don't seem to have the time. The time issue is only going to get worse, believe me, so I'd like to be able to have more time for those people who I couldn't live without, or the people I want to get to know.
I was pretty ruthless I guess, and I only kept the people who
a) Know where I live and could therefore find me and kill me.
b) I could not live without.
c) Have been a part of my flist forever.
d) I'd like to get to know / Make posts that I always want to comment on, but then never do.
I'm sorry if anyone's hurt by this, but you deserve a better LJ friend than I've been. I wish you all the very best in your futures, in whatever you do, and should our paths cross again and I have more time on my hands, maybe we can try again. ♥ ♥ ♥
