Do it for the puppies!

My awesome friend foreplayofrain works for an awesome animal shelter. They are a private shelter, and they do not take in animals from the public - they take them from "death row" at public shelter. Most of the animals ARF takes in have 24 hours or less to live. As long as they are adoptable (they temperament test) and they have space, we take them in. This includes sick and injured animals, as long as they are treatable. ARF is a no-kill facility, meaning they never put an animal down in order to make more room. If they don't find the right family, their home is with ARF...forever.

BUT Like all non-profits, ARF is constantly in need of money. You can help them get a $25,000 grant.
ARF could really use this money to help make improvements so that they can rescue more animals.

Please go here, and enter "Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation" for Shelter Name and CA for state and vote for ARF.
