Because it is a chance to feel different, like no ordinary everyday thing can make you feel like. To experience new sensations and to let those feelings wash over you and make you a different you if only for a while. I only did pot and I don't drink that much but the sensations are interesting to observe. Also smoked cigarettes for a while but more important stuff came up and I quit. I liked the taste of cigarettes. No peer pressure here just plain liked it.
A thought provoking question me doth think.
When I am old and grey and no-one needs or wants me anymore I plan on trying all the drugs under the sun cause I wanna see some shit that just doesn't/shouldn't exist, I wanna feel so completly different that I might just shit myself and die. That is where my plan for not being needed comes into it. I don't want people to have to rely on me and me do something that might kill me or put me permanently out of commission.
Just something I wanna do before I die. That and skydive.
But which should I do first? Both are risky???
