Oh, this was so intense and beautifully written. Loved it and felt every bit of Blair's wonderment and happiness.

Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it! It really was amazing to me how well the poetry fit with the guys, once I started to browse.

My inner romantic is swooning with joy. That Blair loves Jim in such an all-consuming, spiritual way. Yes! Rumi is an incredible poet and I love how you've incorporated his work here.

Hee! I'm glad I could give your inner romantic a thrill! And I had no idea how much Rumi's poetry would resonate with TS...makes me want to do a challenge or something...

Ohhh, that was breath-taking! I've heard of Rumi, but have not read much of his work. Which reminds me...
::adds Rumi to "writers to check out" list::

And thank you for a most welcome antidote to all of the mass-deletion upheaval!

You will not be disappointed if you check him out...beautiful, ecstatic poetry. I'm very glad that you liked it, and thank you for reading!

And I'm with you on the upheaval...I sorely needed a little oasis of joy on LJ today...:-(

Oh, just beautiful wow! -- What a fabulous birthday present, thank you! And such a beautiful fic. Your writing is (like it always is) so evocative.

Rumi's understanding of soul-deep love is just perfect for Blair and Jim; and it's perfect that it's because of Jim Blair now understands -- knows -- the truth of what Rumi has written. ...And you used one of my faves -- oh, lovely! I loved all the other quotes too -- especially the last one, the way you used it, ohhhh... ::shivers deeply::

Love that "sliver of white sock showing" and hungry, possessive Jim, leaning over the couch. I am so melted and shivery, everything interwoven with the poetry so beautifully...

**melted hugs, and much appreciation -- I was so happy to see you'd finished the fic; that you posted it as a belated birthday present is so totally lovely of you! **

Yay! Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! I was very inspired by our Rumi conversation, and I wanted to write you something. And once I got started, I was really amazed at how his poetry was so incredibly reflective of their relationship...

And you used one of my faves

Hee! That was why I asked what your favorite was...although I can see what you mean; once I got started it was hard to stop at just a few. I nearly went off on an entirely different tangent with "the garden of mystic lovers"...

I'm really, really pleased that you enjoyed it!

::is deeply intrigued, yes she is:: Anything I can ever do to help you follow your tangents (Rumi or otherwise), just let me know. I'll fetch pencils, polish your keyboard, bring you Inspiring Beverages and strengthening Snacks, walk any dogs of your choice...

LOL! Aw, that's really sweet of you. I have a bunch of other plot bunnies that are clamoring for attention right now, though, so I think I'll have to let that tangent cook in the back of my mind for a while...
