Okay, now that I've watched The Reichenbach Fall three or four times, I realize that there are some things that are bothering me...

cut for spoilers...REALLY BIG SPOILERS. Especially if you haven't seen the ep yet... )

When John was reading the papers and getting a tad upset, he said something along the lines of the papers were referring to him as a "confirmed bachelor" living with Sherlock. I took it to mean that he's reading between the lines that the press think he and Sherlock are a couple and that's why he wanted Sherlock to not get a lot of press for awhile.

I don't think so - people have been thinking that he and Sherlock are a couple since ep 1; he's gotten pretty used to it, I think. There's something more to it than that... I think he's worried about Sherlock for some reason. Later Sherlock asks him why he cares and he says he doesn't want people to think of Sherlock as a fraud.

I was wondering about the medical crew who came to take care of Sherlock. There was an awful lot of them and they came over really fast, and none of them were letting John get anywhere near Sherlock's (well, we know his death was faked) body. I wondered if Sherlock had set up something with his street people pals to spirit him away and to distract John. John was runover by that guy on the bike, after all.

I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, of those folks were from Sherlock's homeless network. Including the guy on the bike. Their job was to try and keep John away so that he couldn't figure out that that wasn't really Sherlock or that he wasn't really dead. Maybe one or two of them were actual Bart's people that Molly had recruited, but it's more likely that they're just in borrowed scrubs.

On another note, I feel very touched by the "I Believe In Sherlock" movement.

Yeah, me too. I really want a "I believe in Sherlock Holmes" t-shirt. :-)
