thought i would do you all a favor and update for once
mkay. so North Carolina was a nice getaway, exactly how i thought it would be. How can you go wrong going to a beach everyday? minus the fact that i got destroyed by the surfing/waves/big undertow, got clawed at by a crab while surfing (it pinched my big toe.. it hurt a lot.) , seeing sharks out in the water always eases my stomache, and i got this fabulous sun poisoning and a rash cuz of the surfboard.
but besides all that, the surfing was fun, as always, got a good tan goin on, made friends w/ a crab.. who died later on when he got washed away by a wave... RIP buddy!, had some nice waves, boogie boarding rocked, and not to mention the seafood out there was great also. there was a surfing competition just up the coast, but i didnt get a chance to go to it. heard it was awesome tho.. kinda bummed i didnt go.
anyhoot. got home yesterday, then went to the goo goo dolls concert, which was amazing. i didnt think the counting crows played that bad, just not as good as GGD. it was awesome finally seeing a band that i grew up with.
if all goes well, teaching lax all next week, and MSU camp on saturday. good times to come. cant wait
