(no subject)
Last night was great. We had a potluck in honor of my mom last night. Almost a.. good bye party. The Musher's Hall almost couldn't fit everybody. ^^ It was so nice and fun and brought back memories. I realized how important my mom really was to the University, shit she got a letter from the Chancellor whom she has never ever met!!! ^-^ Haha I hope dad caught her shocked face on film when Steve Smith started reading the Chancellor's letter out loud. So many people I feel like I have never met greeted me warmly. I also learned quite a few things about my mom as well >.> I wish I could've gotten there earliar to help out with the rest of my girl scout troop with decorating. We had some early photos of mum in Alaska, and I was shocked to see that she looked exactly like me. I mean there was NO difference. I got a lot of comments about that picture >.> So it was a great turn out ^^ and lots of fun. Felt like royalty the whole time, we got to sit at our own little table and eat first x)
In other news...
MY MOM GOT A FRICKEN' MOTOR SCOOTER. SHIIIIIIIIIIT its so fucking fun. I saw it out there and immediately squeled and started to ride it around. It goes sooooo fast x)
WE'RE MOVING ON JULY 31ST!!! ^____^ I can't wait to get my OWN room and everything!. I can't wait to paint it!! And now with the actual chance of painting my room, it aint gunna be one fricken color. ohhhhhh no. I'm paintin' studio ghibli stuff all over it. Deffinatly gunna need some painting skill help ^^ Cuz with just me painting... itll take years... I've had quite a few ideas, my first was just to paint it like Howl's bedroom. Fucking awesome looking but too complicated and I want a peice from all of Miyazaki's movies. So for the ceiling, i want it painting like the Baby's ceiling from Spirited Away. I loved that. If it is at all possible. And then kinda paint everything.. cloudy and skylike or something and have different characters from every movie flying or floating. I know for a fact that Miyazaki loves the idea of flying, it shows in his movies. At least one in the movie someone is flying or floating or whatever ^-^ <3<3<3 can't wait.
In other other news....very...unimportant..>> I am officialy obsessed with The Cat Returns. X___X A beautiful Ghibli production directed by Hiroyuki Morita. All the Ghibli directors are geniuses. and man I love this movie x_X I haven't had an obsession like this since... Princess Mononoke in 6th grade.. I just cant stop watching it! o_o Im about to watch for the THIRD time today. I'm also obsessing over romantic fanfics dealing with The cat returns. *sigh* I have quite the weakness for sappy shit. -_- I swear..I should become like.. Hitch or something. I'd probably be good at it >>
Well I'm in a good mood, had a nice talk with Frankie last night. I haven't talked with him for a long while. We were discussing music and stuff and how much changing time signatures SUCK. Oh, and stuff about the Aussie and New Zealand trip ^^ hehe. Okay, going to take a shower, think about cute romantic fairy tales, and then to watch The Cat Returns once more. Laters!
