Yeeeup, so the Knavel family's life has taken a whole new turn now.
Lets do bad news first. Mom's cancer has spread again. In only two days she went to being able to walk(well, limp) down the steps and to the bathroom to not being able to walk or limp at all. The tumors in the brain have increased in size and i think they are starting to affect her left leg now too. As before it was only her left arm, but now that's completely dead and useless. Dad has to lift her off the bed and on her wheel chair now. Going to the bathroom is a difficult task now and takes three people besides mom to get her in there. An employee of mom's, Lisa (and also a great friend of the family) helps us a lot. And her husband, Egle (whos like a fricken viking) helps dad carry mommy down the stairs in the wheel chair. So we have to call him anytime she wants to go somewhere.
For the cancer spreading, we found out that mommy's cancer spread all through her torso. It's in her diaphram, liver, bones through the torso, and worst of all there's a cancerous tumor on her heart. Which is supposively really rare.. There's also spots on her adrenal glandes...but we don't know if its cancer yet.. So that was incredibly bad news. Mommy cries more now..she cries when she can't do anything, she gets so frustrated that she can't do anything for herself and so she'll cry. It's so hard to smile when shes crying, but im getting the hang of it... gotta keep smiling for her because I don't think she can do it for us anymore. The thought of her death isn't something we can avoid anymore.
Good news: Really fucking good news: our family has acquired ...a shit load of money. How, is classified, we deffinently didn't get it in a bad way, just mom and dad just want it to be a family matter for the time being. Mom has to go on full time disability leave for work, but we get a shit load of money because of it. We get to pay off our bills now. And best of all.. BUY A NEW HOUSE!! Buying a house was like... a fucking dream to us all our lives! I thought I'd never see us buying a new house. Never ever. But look at us now! I'm so ecstatic! We've been looking for one that's accessable for mom, since this condo isn't working out anymore for us. We all want one on Farmer's Loop. And we found one ^^ We looked at one yesterday on Overhill, off of Veiwpointe. Dadddy LOVED it. Buut.. none of us really did.. It had three floors and we could get an elevator put in. The entry ways were too small for mommy's wheel chair and there was only two actual rooms in it, even though they advertised it as 5 bedrooms. The other three were'nt legal because they had no windows for escape if there ever was a fire or something. There WAS a waterfall in it which was pretty cool...and the lawn was beautiful.. but no. Mom hated it.
Well Carey and Debbie Fristoe came upon a for sale house near where they live. (which is dads IDEAL IDEAL living spot) DAd and Pappy took a look at it and liked it. Turns out dad actually knows the owner and works with him up at the U. So we all went out to look at it at about 1 today. Deffinatly a keeper, everybody loves it. Mommy adored it. So it's as good as ours. ^_^ Okay details about the house.... it's on summit off of Farmer's Loop and its on the right side of Cranberry Ridge(where Kimmi lives). It's got its only little drive way and is completely sucluded from everyone else, which me and daddy wanted. Huge place to park with a tennis court you can set up! There's a little lawn with a picnic table too. The hosue is a thing of beauty. The garage can fit probably up to 5 cars, but it's a two car garage. There's a huge area near the garage that can fit a ping pong table (which is probably what we're gunna do x) ). The first story has a nice bedroom and a huge living room area and a bathroom. Then theres stairs (which we will get a chair lift built in for mom) that lead upstairs. The upstairs has a beautiful kitchen with a little deck to put a grill on and stuff. There's two bedrooms upstairs, one master with a bathroom and a little bedroom. There's a huge spacy living area with a wood stove and off in a corner is a small living room. Then theres a HUUUUUGGGEEE carpeted deck where mom can spend some peaceful time outside.
Fucking amazing house and i cant wait to move in ^___^ So this is all thats been going on in my life recently >.> yeeeup!
