I read LoH when I was on my LeGuin kick just before and just after Odyssey. Yup, it totally messed with my mind. I'd like to read it again, now that I've seen movies like "Inception" and "Dark City."

It gets even better when you read it in conjunction with the Tao Te Ching and Chuang Tzu. I read it in 1980, after seeing the PBS film (the first one) made from it, which was about a year after I read The Left Hand of Darkness. Shortly afterwards I went on a Le Guin binge from which I have never recovered. I keep hoping she'll adopt me.
