31. Solitaire by Kelley Eskridge. Just recently re-printed by the wonderful and personable Small Beer Press, so get your copies there. Solitaire is a definite page-turner--I am kind of a robot in that I have pretty structured reading times, and this book basically obliterated them. What's compelling about it ( Read more... )

Thank you! It's always a treat to turn someone's reading schedule upside down (grin). I very much appreciate your taking time to talk about the book, and am delighted you liked it. Yes, the simultaneity of being vulnerable and secure... thanks for that as well, it's a lovely way to look at it and I shall think about it more.
