I loved the Easy Rawlins books for awhile. I read the first four or five of them, and then just kind of stopped. I ought to get back into them again. Have you read Mosley's RL's Dream? It's about an aging, poverty-stricken blues singer. I loved it.

I haven't read RL's Dream, but I will! I really admire Mosley's work.
