Severus strode purposefully toward the new DADA professor's desk. "Really, Lupin? A dark creature with a dark creature for a pet and teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts." He nodded to the tank containing the grindylow. "Isn't that just a bit too hackneyed?" He handed over the goblet of Wolfsbane potion.
"Just about as cliché as an ex-Death Eater dressed in all black, with his robes billowing menacingly behind him." Remus raised the goblet in a silent toast and drank.
Severus' cheeks turned slightly pink. "As long as we both agree that Potter's safety is paramount this term."
"Agreed." Remus nodded.
