Title: NOOtO Universe Drabble Set
Word Count: 100 x 4
Rating: PG-13
Challenge: Alphabet - B is for Black, Sirius
Characters: Remus/Severus/Sirius
Notes: I wrote an R/S/S story a while back, Not One Or the Other, and have since written two follow-ups. I took prompts in my journal and here are four responses. If you haven't read the series (and I did this to challenge myself, not shill the stories, promise! *g*), all you need to know is that R/S/S are together because Remus caught S/S together but they both wanted Remus all along, Sirius came back from the veil and was a broken man for a long time, and Harry died defeating Voldemort.

Karasu_hime asked what Remus had been thinking on the way to the garage, just before and as he caught Sirius and Severus having sex the first time during Not One or the Other. She also asked how they handled their sexual tensions during the year Remus delayed approaching either man. This drabble covers both issues.

Time for a New Year
The Carlisle house was full of wankers.

Or at least, that's what Remus had thought during the Year of Celibacy. He hadn't been completely clueless; he'd seen the lengthy gazes Severus and Sirius gave him, assumed each had been taking his own needs in hand. The looks that had passed between the other two, however, those Remus missed.

Now the house was chockablock wankers because Remus was watching Sirius and Severus have sex, just as he'd pictured them a hundred times - rough and desperate, slow and thorough.

Why had he never imagined himself between them? Wankers, the lot of them.

Bronze_ribbons wanted to know more about the "simple blue duvet" from NOOtO: Convincing. I told you I couldn't resist her - this has been written for a week!

Picking Apart Remainders
Remus put the blue duvet on the bed once a month to reassure Sirius it was still there.

The quilt was made from old Weasley jumpers transfigured from oranges, greens, and a spectrum of reds into a robin's egg hue that would have clashed terribly with Harry's eyes. Mrs Weasley delivered it into Sirius' hands a month after Remus moved them to the house, and it was the only time she ever visited.

Sirius would only sleep in that comforter for the next year. Remus used all his tailoring magic to keep it whole.

Severus never knew anything about it.

cordeliadelayne wanted to know what was Remus thinking when Snape said he'd move in during NOOtO: Convincing. It seems appropriate to make sure to answer the mod request on the 100th challenge. Plus, she always kindly (and excellently) writes my prompts and I love her to pieces!

Doubt Migrates
Remus knew he shouldn't have panicked - Severus had proved he could take care of himself in the wars.

No, seeing the former spy crouched naked over Sirius didn't particularly faze Remus - but Severus' sudden agreement to move in with them astounded him. What had changed? Only Sirius displaying rare vulnerability usually broke through Severus' defences, but Sirius had been angry earlier.

Then again, watching them watch each other, Remus couldn't help but remember how this had started and entertain a flickering doubt, wondering if it wasn't the two dark men before him who were being quickly left behind.

To end on something a bit happier, here's an official NOOtO universe take on the first birthday after they moved in together. Request courtesy of vimeslady.

Wrangling Wishes
The first birthday after they moved in together was Severus'. After weeks of asking what he might like with no answer other than "piss off", Remus brushed up on his Legilimency and Sirius planned a coordinated attack:

"Sevvie-poo, don't you want anything for your birthday," Sirius sing-songed, floating upside-down in Severus' face and batting his eyelashes. Remus struck when Severus turned to him with a look of disdain, the secret of his desires unwittingly close to the surface.

On a crisp January afternoon, the Slytherin Quidditch team arrived for a backyard pick-up game, courtesy of Minerva. Severus out-flew them all.

Hope that wasn't too annoying, and thank you for the indulgence!
