1. Luna's mother was killed by a botched experimental potion (rather than a spell), and her notes were destroyed in the disaster. Severus is pursuing a similar line of research and uses Legilimency on Luna to recover her memories of what happened. Hurt/comfort a bonus.
2. Luna is investigating (insert creative creature name here) for the Quibbler. She's heard that these fantastic creatures inhabit dungeons ... and she knows just where to start looking.
3. Post-war, where Severus has survived, was pardoned by the Ministry, etc., but was blinded during the final battle. One of the conditions of his pardon is that he continue to brew Wolfsbane for any werewolves that need it. Luna applies for a job as his assistant.
4. Ten years after Luna has graduated from Hogwarts, she returns to Britain and meets Severus at a Ministry Gala Ball celebrating Voldemort's defeat. Severus doesn't recognize the grown-up Luna... <-- Claimed by muselolita

AU, Post-War H/C scenario; During his time as a teacher, Severus had a wife (married during his DE days), who dies during the second Voldemort war (either Vance or a non-Sue Ofc can do as the secret wife, but don't let them overshadow the SS/LL too much). Few knew about that marriage, Snape acts as though nothing has happened & throws himself into work/research etc to deal with the loss. Years later, Luna and he meet again; she works with him, her comments & observations bring up painful memories, and an even more uncomfortable craving for companionship. IC Snape slowly & reluctantly falling for Luna, while angsting over the fact that she was once his student a plus, as well as a mature Canon-but-not-*too*-ditzy Luna.
10. A day in the life of Snape & Luna as an elderly couple, with an ageing Crumple-Horned Snorkback as a pet. Though her spaced-out ways sometimes perplex him, he knows he would not have things any other way… even if she does have an exasperating tendency to be right a lot of the time. Prefer Snape’s PoV, if fic.
11. Postwar; Snape is working for the Ministry as an Auror. Luna went missing during the war, nowadays presumed dead. Reports come in that she may be still be alive, but in renegade DE captivity. Snape goes out to investigate & rescue her, finds the job not as easy as he assumed; Luna needs his help, but there are some things she knows, that he must heed if they are to succeed… bonus (but not essential) if you can include Harry and Remus as colleagues, with little ongoing tensions between Snape & them (no snupin or snarry in this one if you go that way, other slash side relationships ok).
12. Postwar; The Quibbler becomes a roaring success, Luna a very wealthy - and single - witch. There’s Muggle rumours of a sorcerer living as a hermit living in some remote corner of the world, Luna goes to investigate… and discovers that it’s Snape. Bonus (but not essential) if he’s living in a cave and/or ancient ruins, and has acquired a lot of eccentric habits appropriate to his character. Bonus (but not essential) also if Hermione is Luna’s secretary, or chief reporter and/or editor.
13. Snape & Luna get transfigured into a pair of unicorns (but they somehow keep their minds). They must hide out in the forbidden forest until they can get someone to help them change back to human form. Bonus (but not essential) if Snape must protect Luna from male unicorns as well. Prefer transfiguration to be from magical accident or attack, rather than they both being unicorn Animagii. No Bimbo Ho!Luna please, she must also be 18 at least if any sexual situation with Snape occurs.
14. Postwar; both Luna & Snape back at Hogwarts as professors; they encounter in the library. Lots of (two-way) verbal flirting in the guise of sharp, witty banter & intellectual sparring, with plenty of obscure academic/magical/alchemical terms being used. Neither can get the better of the other, and neither really minds.
15. Luna has a job interview with Snape. Much to his annoyance, she turns out to be the only one suitable for the position. <-- Claimed by lunafish
16. Luna has a job working as Madam Malkin’s assistant, Snape must have his measurements taken for a new set of robes.
17. A “True Grit”-style mercy dash by Thestral or Hippogriff to St. Mungo’s. Luna transporting a wounded Snape, or vice-versa - either ok. (an explanation why they don’t Apparate or use the Floo a bonus). If any sexual situation with Snape is/becomes involved, Luna must be 18 at least.
18. Post-war; Snape must have treatment for an embarrassing ‘male problem’. He is even more embarrassed to learn that Luna will be helping to administer the treatment.

20. Mpreg (I bet nobody will want this one *g*): Post-war, Snape & Luna are working together as magical researchers (at St. Mungo’s or the Ministry). During an experiment, something goes badly wrong & Snape is impregnated. Luna is determined to look after Snape (whether he likes it or not), and make things ready for the little (whatever) he’s going to have. Work the ship in along the way; Some h/c, comedy and/or horror along the way a plus, but not too fluffy or schmoopy please. IC, difficult patient!Snape also a bonus, and/or homunculi, and/or a Ministry somewhat indifferent to Snape’s welfare due to ‘scientific’ interest in the being (human or otherwise) he’s been implanted with.
21. Post-War, Snape is mortified to learn that Luna had a secret crush on him as a student... and is still carrying the torch.
22. Snape & Luna survive a werewolf attack, but both are now infected. They await their first transformation together (Wolfsbane optional; If any sexual situation with Snape is/becomes involved, Luna must be 18 at least)
23. A curse or magical accident creates a mental bond between Luna & Snape, causing her to consciously (but not deliberately) enter his dreams when they both sleep (but not vice-versa). 25. Luna and Snape get into an argument over something (serious or not is up to you) and Luna seeks temporary comfort in the arms (and possibly the thighs) of the Weasley twins. <-- Claimed by i_octopus

Post-war, H/C: Luna is injured by a magical creature (one of those the Quibbler reported about that no one knew really exsisted until she got hurt), her father pays a heafty fee to have the best potioner available, Severus Snape, take care of her and try to create a potion to cure her. 29. Post-war: Luna has been watching Severus from afar for too long. She finally decides she is going to seduce Snape whether he likes it or not.
30. Post-war: the Death Eaters have won and have seized control of England, even infiltrating the Muggle government at all levels. Luna seems to have accepted the new regime and leads an outwardly respectable pureblood life, but she's actually part of an underground railroad helping muggleborns and so-called blood traitors to escape the country. Snape becomes suspicious. (Snape can be either a true, loyal Death Eater or a man simply resigned to what has come to pass.)
31. post-HBP: Luna can't forget that night down in the dungeon when Snape spared her and Hermione's lives. During her sixth year at Hogwarts, she begins investigating the life and times of Severus Snape and inadvertently gains the confidence of Snape's mother, who happens to be in hiding at Hogwarts: Mdm.
