Luna Lovegood has killed, but only in self-defense. She can not bring herself to kill for vengeance.
She can not wish for it, can not dream of it because she does not want it. Enough harm has been done. Enough tears shed, enough blood.
Severus Snape, her teacher, her lover and her betrayer.
She kneels beside him, takes him in her arms. His black head rests on her fair and fragile shoulder. He has always been the darkness in which she shone a moonbeam.
“It is finished,” she whispers.
She can not forgive him but she can not kill him.
