Why do all good things come to an end...?!
Alex Frei will leave Dortmund to play at Basel...obviously everythings settled now :/
I know I'm quite selfish again but I just don't want him to leave *sighs*
There were rumors for a few days now that he might leave for Basel so it's not like I'm totally shocked...but still. Actually I wanted to go to Borussia Dortmunds training session tomorrow to see Alex again.It's been about 2 or 3 month I'd say since I last saw him and I thought 'Just in case he reeaaally might leave sooner or later...just got & pay them a visit...'
Well,won't make sense now anymore as Alex obviously already left to Basel as according to the press he got his medical check-up tomorrow :(
So I havn't even got the chance to see him one last time / to say good-bye,hmpf :/
He's always just been soooo awesome to us,really!
I know some people can't really stand him as a person...and I know that at times he really seems arrogant,even rude,snappy,bitchy,selfish or whatever you wanna call him lol
And he sometimes gives quite scathing remarks as well xD
But Alex really just behaves like that in front of people if they are more or less behaving like that as well.
It's like...if you're polite towards him,if you won't grab him while taking pictures,if you won't act like he's your best mate for years...if you're just respectful towards him he'll be one of the most awesome people you'll ever get to meet!
We've been to literally dozens of training sessions and watched him with fans often enough to be able to judge,belive me lol
And it takes you a while to understand his humor,I'll have to admit that...but once you got it...well,he's just marvelous really ^^
We never had the tiniest of problems or arguments with Alex,unlike most of the other people xD
He even greets all the times,flashes his biggest smiles...and one of the things I love most about him...he enjoys to 'destroy' the pictures people take with him,and he always forces us to help xDDDD Too hard to explain & I guess it would just take too long as well,but yeah...good craic really ^^
And now I'm already planning a trip to Basel in October o.O
Kinda pathetic I guess...but billeballe90 and me wanted to go to Swiss for a good while now.
And if going to Swiss includes seing Alex again...well it just sounds like even more fun ;)
I already looked for flights,hostels,trains,evertyhing xD
Return flight from Cologne to Zurich,a train from Zurich to Basel (and back) and 3 nights at a hostel would be around 180€ for each of us...
I don't really think that's much to be honest.
At least I'd be more than willing to pay it to see Alex Basel ^^
It's just that we're already going to spent a weekend in a 4* hotel at the end of October as well,including a handball game and all *sighs*
I guess I still could afford it but I'm earning money after all...but still.
